Who is responsible?

QuestVoice is published by Damien. For any question about your data: contact@questvoiceforever.com.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no external scripts. Like any website, it is served by Cloudflare, which may keep technical logs (IP address, date, requested page) to ensure security and proper operation.

The QuestVoice app

To work, the app and its server process the following data:

• Account: your email address and password (stored in an irreversibly encrypted form, never in clear), the creation date, your account type (free or member) and the confirmation code sent by email.
• Quest text: the text to be read (title, dialogue, objective) is sent to our servers to generate or retrieve the matching audio. For a free account, your character's name and class are replaced by “Hero” and “Adventurer” before sending. For a member account, they may appear in the text so that they are pronounced.
• Usage: amount of text read (for the quota), online presence (number of connected players) and quest reading statistics, to manage limits and detect abuse.
• Pronunciation reports: the word spoken, its phonetic spelling, the quest name if entered, your language, the date and your account.
• On your computer: a settings file (login token, volume, shortcuts, language) and a cache of audio already played.

Who is the data shared with?

• Cloudflare: hosting of the website and server, storage of audio and accounts, sending of confirmation emails.
• ElevenLabs: generation of voices from the quest text. It receives neither your email nor your password.
• Stripe: payment for the member subscription. Your bank details are entered at Stripe and never pass through QuestVoice.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Retention

Your account data is kept as long as your account exists. Audio generated from quest text may be kept in a shared cache, not linked to your account for free accounts.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or the deletion of your account by writing to contact@questvoiceforever.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
